Helen came to Australian Publishing Press with the core idea and manuscript direction, but without finished cover artwork or a complete production setup. She needed more than a file clean-up: she needed a team that could turn the material into a professionally designed physical book.
The cover, interior layout and print specifications had to be developed as one visual system. With no final cover direction already in place, every production decision needed to work together so the printed book would feel intentional rather than assembled from disconnected parts.
We developed the cover direction from Helen's concept, built a premium print interior, prepared the final book layout and checked the files before production. The team then supported the physical-book ordering process, coordinating the project through to a 40-copy print order.
Helen moved from an unfinished production concept to a tangible, professionally designed and formatted book with 40 physical copies produced. The publishing support remained service-based: the author's creative work and intellectual property stayed with the author throughout the process.
Australian Publishing Press provides self-publishing services under one roof. We do not operate as a vanity press: authors retain their rights and royalties, and where platform publishing is included, the book is set up through the author's own publishing profile/account so Australian Publishing Press does not take ownership of the author's intellectual property.
